Since getting his start scratching and mixing records for parties at the age of 17, DJ Daze(aka Black Moses) has always had a fascination and love for the craft. From college parties and weddings, to the New World Lounge and Uptown Lounge, 2006 to 2009 at The Last Level and at WildSides Nov 2009 to Oct 2010. Currently spinning at various clubs across Iowa and the midwest. DJ Daze(aka Black Moses) has been spinning at venues around the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area since the early ‘90s.

Ever the prolific entrepreneur, DJ Daze(aka Black Moses) was instrumental in starting up KBOL-FM 100.1, an independently-run station where he hosts such shows as “Anything Goes with DJ Daze,” putting the spotlight on his passion for finding local musical talent on the air and online on UStream. “One reason I wanted to do radio was to have a venue for unsigned hype,” he said. “I dedicate a whole hour of the show to it.”

DJ Daze(aka Black Moses) is a board member of the Iowa Urban Music Movement, as well as a part of Late Night Records, Street Hot DJs and Streetainment, a record label out of Minnesota. He also sponsors and spins at twice-monthly Voices in Poetry shows at The Cellar and hosts their weekly radio show, “Voices of Poetry.” DJ Daze(aka Black Moses) has been recognized by the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Courier in “Best of the Best 2009” for his DJ services
